I woke up from sleeping. It was the day! I was going to North Carolina! I was excited. Very excited. Super excited! I wrote some in my diary. Then it was time to drive to MKE (Milwaukee) and get a car for the trip. That was not very fun. It was a long way back. Almost time to go! Eek! Then it was the time! We started our journey. I put my pokémon DVD in the old (No, I don’t mean ol’)DVD player. It was the first DVD with a Bulbasaur on it. Since I’d already seen the WHOLE pokémon series sometimes I took a break and drew. But soon I became bored. BORED. BORED. BORED. No fun at all. So I continued watching pokémon. I also ate some snacks while I was watching pokémon. Then I’ll skip to that night because nothing fun happened. We parked in the parking lot. I stopped watching pokémon and brought my things in the hotel. We walked up the stairs and into our room. “I call this bed!” I said. And I got the bed I wanted. We turned the TV on. When it was off I went to bed. Good morning, day 2! I got up and started reading The Series of Unfortunate Events. I wasn’t done yet. Then we got breakfast. Mmm- mm, it was good. And so we finished our breakfast, checked out of the hotel, grabbed our things, put them in the car, and kept travelin’. I put my pokémon DVD (The first one again)in the DVD player. And we went off. And we stopped at Walmart to get pokémon fruit snacks (the 20 pack)because we forgot the other pokémon fruit snacks (the 10 pack)at home by accident, Gardettos, shampoo, and conditioner. And then went back in to the car. I was excited because today I’d get to see everybody on my Dad’s side of the family! YAY, YAY, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, let’s continue. Let’s skip a bit more. Ok, my Mom started playing some songs on Spotify. (AKA song app)I made my stuffed animals dance to some of the songs. It was the evening. That meant we were getting closer to Madison, Sydney, Ethan, Lily, and a lot of other people. Eek!!!!!!!!! We got Starbucks, and then we kept driving(or in my case watching pokémon). Then we arrived! I couldn’t believe it! We were here (after a LONG journey)!!!!!!!! I brought my stuff in my room. Then I asked where Madison, Sydney, Ethan, and the others were. They were in the hot tub, but before I could even walk touch the first stair down, Lily saw me. “Hi!” she said. Lily is a four-year old girl. “Hello, Lily.” Then I walked down the stairs and she followed me to the hot tub. “Hey, Juliet’s here!” Said Sydney. Sydney is a 13-year old girl. “JULIET!” Said Madison. Madison is a fourteen-year old girl(Lily’s older and only other sister.). “I’m gonna give you a big wet hug!” She said. I smiled. Not only was I was happy that I got to see Madison and Sydney, but the hot tub lit up! It was awesome. And Maddie (Madison)gave me a hug like she said she would, but it wasn’t that wet. “I’m gonna get my swimming suit on!” Said Lily. “Ok.” I said. Let’s skip 2 minutes later. Lily walked down the stairs. This time she had her swimsuit on. “Come on in, Lily.” Said Maddie. Then Maddie helped Lily in. “Come in, Juliet.” Said Lily. “I can’t, Lily. I don’t have my swimsuit on.” I said. “Then get your swimming suit on, Juliet.” Said Lily. “But I don’t want to.” I said. “Please?” “No.” “Please?” No, Lily. I don’t want to get my swimsuit on Lily because I don’t like hot stuff.” “It’s really not that hot, Juliet. Here, put your hand in the water.” Said Madison. And so I did. And it was hot. “Well, it may not be hot for you, but it’s hot for me.” I said. “Please could you come in? If you don’t I’ll be sad.” Said Lily. “I don’t mean to make you sad but I really don’t want to go in.” “Ok.” She said. Then Stephanie came to the hot tub. “Hey y’all.” She said. She stepped in the hot tub. Lily got out of the hot tub. She sat down with me. I am sad to say but I do not remember ALL of the details, but don’t stop the story here! I may not remember some stuff but I can tell you all I remember!
Ok, thing number 1: The food
The food, The food, The food. Mmm-mm, it was good. It’s SOOO good!!!!!!!!! I thought. Such good snacks! I liked looking at the cakes they made once but sadly never ate one.
2: Looking for Maddison and Sydney
Ok, so this happened the first night. We (Me and Lily)wanted to know where Maddie and Sydney. And we wanted answers PRONTO! ‘Cause I mean I just got and now they were gone? Ugh! “Do you know where Maddie and Sydney are?” I asked Tyler( Madison, Ethan, and Lily’s dad.) “They’re downstairs.” He said. What?! There's a downstairs!? I thought. I HAVE to see it! And so we went downstairs past a sign that said (In marker) Do not open! Housekeepers ONLY! Now we were done with the stairs. The first thing I saw was a bunk bed. Then I saw a place where a door should be without a door. Then couches and another bunk bed. Then computers. Then Ethan and my parents. “Why are you down here?” They asked. “Because we’re looking for Madison and Sydney.” I told them. The one thing I did not see was Madison and Sydney. And so I went back up stairs. “We didn’t see Madison and Sydney.” I told Tyler. “Well, I saw them upstairs.” And so we took the long (but worth it!)stairs. I sometimes crawled. And so I checked the bedroom where me, Sydney, and Madison(Unfortunately not Lily but I was told Lily was going to sleep with me, but she didn’t). But I didn’t see them. Actually nobody but me and Lily. Little did we know they were hiding in the closet! Let’s skip more to when I found out they were hiding in the closet. WHAT?! I thought. Ethan was there. I wish I had asked why they hid but I was silent. Madison and Sydney stood there laughing. Well that’s the end of thing number 2!
3: The water balloon fight
Even though this thing is short and not exciting it’s a part of the story(but you can skip it). We were in the pool (Me, Ethan, Maddie, Sydney)when all of the sudden a water balloon crashed into the pool. It wasn’t floating. It had blown up. Ethan(9 year old boy) checked (with his snorkel)the corner where the balloon was. I looked up. They had my water balloons up there! Soon we had to walk to the beach. We brought the water balloons with. The sand was on FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so hot. But this part is not about sand. Anyway, we put the water balloons on the sand(they did not care that it was hot). We started making balloons. I handed them out to people. The one that I got I poured on my Dad’s back. Sometimes my Mom would say “How about you take a break and play with the water balloons, Juju.” But I wouldn’t stop. Sometimes I’d say “Buy more ‘cause they’re in store. Oh yeah!” to the customers. There was a battle I think I don’t know because I wasn’t watching much. The end.
4: The CAT game
Ok, late one night me, Maddie, Sydney, Jacob, William, and Caroline were playing a game called CAT. How to play: Draw a picture of one of the Categories. Use kitty(kitties). See if your team can guess it before the other team. And the team that figures it out first gets a point. The team's: Me, Sydney, and Jacob. Maddie, Caroline, and William. I remember when it was my turn, my card said hypnotized. So I grabbed a kitty and started to draw. It wasn’t as easy as it looked. Eventually Madison found out what it was and got a point for her team. Madison’s team won.
5: Sparklers
Just after A LOT of the group left, my Mom said me, her, Dad, Lily, Maddie, Sydney, Eli, and Tyler could do sparklers. Lily did not know what sparklers were. We walked to the driveway and started doing some sparklers. Everybody grabbed them once they were lit. Lily looked scared of the sparks on the ground. There is a video of Eli(3 year old boy) trying to make a spark fall on my foot. Sydney says “No!” to him. And poor Lily cried because she either was scared or a spark fell on her toes.
6: Photos
We took photos on the beach. The WHOLE family. Some were all the girls, some were families, some were just one person, some were more groups. It was sooooooooooooooooooooo boring. But they turned out good.
7: Tie dye
Tie dye as you know is a hard thing to do. But we did it. Right after we left the grocery store. When doing tie dye you can do all sorts of things. And you can tie dye all clothing (some people did underwear).
8: The shop trips
Me, Maddie, Sydney, and Ethan were going to the shops one time. We started at the bookstore. THERE WAS A PUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it looked weird ‘cause of the eyes. Uh, I’m sorry I don’t remember the rest. But I got a seashell box and a huge stuffed animal cat named Jaden.
9: Swimming
I went swimming A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun. The one place I didn’t swim was the hot tub. But that was because it was hot. I swam so long in the water that there was red marks around my eyes! At the beach I swam under and jumped the waves. And the pool was just freestyle swimming.
10: Golf
After our last dinner together we went Mini golfing. There were 18 holes. We were on the diamond team. I never got a hole in one. I enjoyed it, although I felt on fire ‘cause it was so hot. The courses were so cool! First you got a ride! It was awesome! Sometimes your ball would go into the water. Sad but still awesome. Sometimes there were caves. Some people must’ve dropped their balls into a part in the cave that was dark, had clowns, had skeletons, and balls glowing.
11: Doing stuff in journals
Once when Maddie, Caroline, and Sydney were gone for a very long shopping trip. But they FINALLY came back! They (Maddie and Sydney)had two of the same journals. I was so glad they came back! I hadn’t seen them for a while and I didn’t where they had been! A little while later we were going to work on our journals together. It was fun when we wrote and drew. Madison and Sydney were working on their covers. I was working on stuff in my pawprint journal. Sometime later Madison did this AMAZING quote on the first page of her journal. I just can’t remember it. I made a set of pages in my paw print journal called pug pages. I included the date and where I was in the first page of the set of pages. A LONG time later Caroline came to with us in her journal...I can’t remember the rest.
12: Our last dinner with my Dad's side of the family
Oh how sad was, the last day(but still a bit happy ‘cause I got to do mini golf.). This was our last night and dinner together, at a seafood place?! Oh. Well, at least I had Madison, Sydney, Lily, Ethan, and the others. I got water and chicken tenders and fries. Who knew that a seafood place had other things then seafood? When I was like half way through my food Aunt Michelle, Madison, and Sydney asked me to come out and see the outside of the restaurant, which had: boats, the ocean, and a..AH! A spot where some chipped off where my foot went. Can’t remember the rest so on to thing 13!
13: Virginia
Ok, so some of it is boring, some of it I don’t remember, and some are JUST right. So on our journey back home we were going to visit Virginia. We were parking in a hotel so we could check in. It was raining. If you don’t know I love rain. When you can be inside, you can curl up and relax, and you can listen to the sound of booming thunder and pouring rain hitting the ground. My mom was looking at vegan restaurants to eat at ‘cause it was near lunchtime. We were going to the one called Vegan Cooking Today. It had ALL vegan menu. I didn’t really like my meal. The only parts I liked were: The pears and some parts of the sandwich. But the sandwich had mayonnaise. Really?! If you don’t know I hate mayonnaise. It’s like butter but I like butter and I hate mayonnaise. It tastes weird. It’s the evil version of butter!!! So don’t eat it. That’s all I’m saying. Ok, next good part. We went to this museum. You know, the kind that has animals. This museum was famous for its otters. I love otters! They’re so adorable!!!! How good could this museum be? Awesome, of course. So I can’t tell you all about the animals but I’ll tell you my top 3:

1. Rough green snake
I didn’t get really close to the red wolf though. The otters were so funny! Hilarious, really. If you saw them I bet you’d laugh too. So was the rough green snake that has great camouflage. The rough green snake is 32 inches(2 times bigger than a bowling pin!) long. Females can lay 3-12 eggs. Rough green snakes eat insects. Now the last thing about Virginia, Luther Burger and Sugar Shack(Donuts, I LOVE YOU!!!). This was the same day as the museum. Luther burger I’ll tell you about first. I will tell you, the burger was... DELICIOUS!!!!!!! Can you think of your favorite food(s)? It tasted like that delicious. You’d probably like it if you tried it. They had flavored fries. I know what you’re thinking, who likes flavored fries when they’re already delicious? So anyway sugar shack was a donut shop. And they’re donuts are…DELICIOUS, AMAZING, SO GOOD!!!!!!!! I only needed(and had) one vegan donut to realize this.
